Dr. Katie Miles
Dr. Katie was born and raised in Frederick, MD. After she graduated from high school, she attended college at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She graduated from JMU with a BS in Kinesiology; then later attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where she obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine (DC). During her time there, she not only studied Chiropractic, but also became a student teacher for various Anatomy classes at the school. Dr. Katie graduated from Palmer with Honors at the age of 25 and came to NC to practice. She chose to open a practice in Roanoke Rapids to be closer to Friends and Family – and because she fell in love with the area during her summers working on Lake Gaston. When not doing what she loves (treating patients); Dr. Katie also enjoys going for walks and runs with her best friend and office therapy dog: Dogtor Nala.
